VSTRONG COMPLETES PALLET 4D SHUTTLE SYSTEM PROJECT FOR NITORI'S KOBE DISTRIBUTION CENTER

Time: 2026-05-01

VSTRONG’s Pallet 4D Shuttle System officially commenced operations at NITORI’s Kobe Distribution Center in February, 2026. The acceptance of this project marks VSTRONG’s breakthrough into Japan’s logistics equipment market and represents a significant milestone in the company’s global expansion strategy.

As Japan’s largest furnishing retailer, NITORI is globally recognized for its integrated "manufacturing-logistics-retail" business model and highly efficient supply chain. To further enhance operational efficiency at its logistics hub, NITORI formally partnered with VSTRONG INTELLIGENT in late June 2025, commissioning the company to design and deploy a state-of-the-art Pallet 4D Shuttle System for its Kobe Distribution Center. This collaboration not only marks VSTRONG’s strategic entry into the Japanese market but also demonstrates that its technology meets the rigorous standards of reliability and precision demanded by global clients.

Phase I Project Overview

The Phase I project at NITORI Kobe DC is a comprehensive Pallet 4D Shuttle System that delivers exceptional results, featuring a high-density racking system that dramatically improves warehouse space utilization, 41 high-performance Pallet 4D Shuttles, 3 reciprocating lifts, a chain conveyor system, and 17 PDA terminals. On the software side, the system is powered by VSTRONG's proprietary Hummingbird Middle Platform (WCS) and TES 4D shuttle scheduling software, which together form a complete logistics management framework that enables flexible orchestration and intelligent control.

Operational Capabilities

Now in full operation, the Pallet 4D Shuttle System supports NITORI's demanding 24/7 continuous workflow, with a designed throughput of 250 to 300 pallets per hour – fully accommodating high-volume inbound and outbound traffic. In addition to standard putaway operations, the system supports three distinct picking modes: online, offline, and hybrid, offering exceptional flexibility to address diverse business scenarios and providing robust support for NITORI's global supply chain network upgrade.

The acceptance of the NITORI Kobe DC project stands as compelling evidence of VSTRONG's technical expertise, project delivery capability, and service excellence on the international stage. Moving forward, VSTRONG remains committed to driving innovation, delivering more efficient, reliable, and intelligent automated warehouse solutions to clients worldwide, and contributing to the advancement of the global logistics industry.
